5.5.3 Confirming the route to relevant destination address

Execute a traceroute ipv6 command and confirm the repeater station between the

interface of the router connected to an IPv6 network and the router used as a

communication peer.

5.5.4 Confirming the NDP Information with Neighbor Device

After an IPv6 address is set to the line of the router, connected to an IPv6 network, or

the port in a line, execute a show ipv6 neighbors command and confirm whether the

address resolution between the router and the adjacent router is performed (NDP

entry information exists). See Subsection 7.8.1, “Communication cannot be done or

communication is disconnected” when no address resolution is performed

5.5.5 Confirming the filtering function

The contents of confirmation when a filtering function is used in the router are as

described below.

5.5.5.1 Confirmation during operation

(a) Confirmation of statistical information

Execute a show filter-flow command to display IP flow statistical information and

confirm the number of discarded packets. If the number of discarded packets is

large, packets may be discarded in the communication part where they must not

be discarded. Confirm the current operational state of the network.
