2. When the settings in the configuration information are appropriate but the SNMP
manager cannot receive SNMP traps, there is a possibility that the SNMP frames
are filtered (discarded) somewhere between the SNMP manager and this router.
Confirm your network administrator to see if filtering is performed on SNMP
frames. (SNMP trap transmission uses the UDP frame with the port number 162.)
Ensure that either trap or ex-trap is
displayed.
